Princeton N. Lyman served as Ambassador to Nigeria and to South Africa and as Assistant Secretary of State for International Organzization Affairs. He has written articels and books on Africa, development, peacekeeping, UN reform and HIV/AIDS. He is currently Ralph Bunche Senior Fellow and Director of Africa Policy Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations.
