Jonathan Ray is the Samuel Eig Associate Professor of Jewish Studies in the Theology Department at Georgetown University. He holds a B.A. from Tufts University in History and Religion, and a Ph.D. in Jewish History from The Jewish Theological Seminary. He served as the Hilda Blaustein Post-Doctoral Fellow at Yale University (2003-2005), and as the Maurice Amado visiting Assistant Professor of Sephardic Studies at UCLA (2005-6).
