The Princess howled for the water creatures to come back to their source. All the water creatures howled back to her. They dissolved into obscure images, climbed onto the surface, joined each other in the middle of the lake to become the girl’s reflection. The image moved back on the water surface to place itself before its owner. Nisha expected to find herself quite happy. Yet, she underwent sadness as she realized how her vital need for her reflection deprived the lake of water creatures>>>

آقای کوگل ماس

کوگل ماس، استاد ادبیّات در سیتی کالج نیویورک، از ازدواج دوّم خویش نیز راضی به ‌نظر نمی‌رسید. زنش دافنه کوگل ماس زنی بود ساده‌لوح. دو پسر از زن اولّش، نلو، داشت که بچّه‌های کودنی بودند و تا خرخره هم غرق پرداختن نفقه و مخارج نگهداری بچّه‌ها به زن سابقش بود. کوگل ماس یک روز شکوه‌کنان به روانشناسش می‌گفت: "دافنه آتیه خوبی داشت. چه کسی فکر می‌کرد که یک روز اینطور خودش را رها کند و مثل توپ گرد شود؟>>>

عاشق شدن هنر است

از دید اریش فروم، عشق در گیرودار دو شرایط متفاوت، دست و پا می‌زند. او معتقد است از طرفی عاشق شدن، واکنشی غیر ارادی است و برای همین کشیدنِ «خط و نشان» و «تمرین» و «تجربه» برای دستیابی به آن و بعد حتی نگهداری از آن بیهوده و دشوار است. از سوی دیگر شواهد موجود حاکی است که بسیاری از عشق‌ها به دردسر، ناملایمت و شکست منجر می‌شوند و به همین خاطر شناسایی وضعیت‌های مختلفی که عشق به خود می‌گیرد اهمیت بسیار دارد>>>

I could blame such ignorance on a number of excuses, but my ultimate comfort came from the fact that it’s never too late. I have since learned that ISCC is an affiliate of MAHAK, one of the best children’s cancer centers in the Middle East that for years has offered free treatment to thousands of needy children>>>
