It was a fleeting encounter, lasting only two minutes. But for the Leader of the Free World, meeting the Queen of Pop was apparently an “intimidating” affair.

“She was wearing 16-inch heels. She was eight feet tall. It was a little intimidating,” President Obama said of pop superstar Lady Gaga in an address Saturday at the annual Human Rights Campaign gala in Washington, D.C.

The two met for the first time in person last week at a fundraiser for Obama’s re-election campaign held at the California home of Facebook’s Sheryl Sandberg and her husband David Goldberg.

Gaga reportedly wore a black dress, scalloped high plunge back and high heels. Her blond hair was upswept, with black flowers and black veil sweeping down back of hair.

“I held some productive bilateral talks with your leader,” Obama jokingly told the gaga-for-Gaga crowd of gay and lesbian advocates of the meeting, drawing hearty laughter and applause.

While it’s unclear what the two discussed, Gaga had tweeted before the fundraiser that she wanted to  raise the issue of youth bullying with Obama following the suicide of Jamey Rodemeyer, a 14-year-old Gaga fan who had been victimized for being gay.

“I am meeting with our President. I will not stop fighting. This must end. Our generation has the power to end it. Trend it #MakeALawForJamey,” the singer posted to twitter.

Did you just emerge from a coma? You act as if’s it’s a surprise politicians at the highest level raise money.

And please, the President has spoken out very forcefully and publicly about bullying and awareness of bullying. That this blog writer chose this remark to write about speaks more about the writer than the President.

It is a reflection of the times we live in. Presidents with any sense of dignity would never meet with a woman like “lady gaga” or address a group of homosexuals. Obama is walking a straight path to the depths of H E L L

We knew the Republican right was lacking in intelligence, and now we confirm they’re lacking in a sense of humor as well . .. it’s hilarious . .

Lady Gaga is a caring person. Her support for those who are brutally bullied makes her a very special person because she steps up against bullying. She steps up for gay people to have the same rights and fairness that all people should have. As weird and strange as she looks sometime I really appreciate her and I think she is a very good singer.
