Jina Moore's picture

Jina Moore is an independent journalist who specializes in post-conflict and human rights reporting. The recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship and of an Ochberg Fellowship with the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma at Columbia University, Moore is a regular correspondent for the Christian Science Monitor. She has also written forĀ The Boston Globe, Foreign Policy, Mother Jones, Newsweek, and The Walrus (Canada), Her work about treating torture survivors was anthologized in Best American Science Writing (2009). Her past Pulitzer Center work, a collaboration with photographer Glenna Gordon, includes an extensive look at the role of land in Africa's conflicts, an expose on a scandal in Liberia's judicial system, and radio reporting about prosecuting post-war rape in Monrovia.
