NIE Program about the program

About the NIE Program

Newspaper in Education (NIE) extends The Post's commitment to supporting education in the Washington area.

Each school day, NIE-participating schools are provided with copies of The Post for use in the classroom. In addition, teachers receive curriculum guides, class exercises and lesson plans.

The result is an exciting learning environment in which students are empowered to build their knowledge in a variety of subjects, strengthen their literacy and analytical skills, and develop a daily reading habit.

NIE is supported by individual and corporate donations through the Partner in Education sponsorship program.
