Maura Youngman

Maura Youngman joined the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting in August, 2009. In the past, Maura worked as a columnist, reporter, and editor for Hamline University's student weekly, The Oracle. She also devoted time to the Minnesota based Twin Cities Daily Planet, and Edinburgh based Spain Magazine. Maura received her BA in Communication Studies and a certificate in International Journalism from Hamline University, St. Paul, MN. While at Hamline, Maura also served as a Web Editor with the Hamline University office of Marketing Communications. While missing Minnesota, Maura is happiest when she is writing and is excited to be in Washington, DC with her colleagues at the Pulitzer Center.
