Gigi Stone

Gigi Stone is a general assignment reporter for Bloomberg Television in New York, where she covers all aspects of business, finance, global markets and breaking news for the network.

Stone has reported live on major business news stories for Bloomberg Television, including the Bernard Madoff trial, the UBS tax evasion investigation, the 2009-2010 Toyota recalls and the Galleon Group insider-trading case.

Prior to joining Bloomberg Television in 2009, Stone reported on business, finance and consumer affairs for ABC News, where she also served as a New York-based correspondent for the ABC programs "Good Morning America," "World News with Charles Gibson" and "Nightline."

Stone's career in television journalism began at NY1 News as a general assignment reporter and anchor covering politics and business. While there, she covered the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks live from the scene.

A New York City native, Stone received her master's degree in journalism from Columbia University.
