Maryam Nemazee
Maryam Nemazee is a London-based anchor and the host of Bloomberg Television's weekday program, "The Pulse with Maryam Nemazee," which tracks the latest international developments in business, economic and financial news along with exclusive interviews and real-time analysis of breaking news affecting global markets.
Since joining Bloomberg Television in 2010, Nemazee has interviewed a wide range of financial newsmakers and CEOs including economist Nouriel Roubini, Christopher Flowers, CEO and founder of private equity firm of J.C. Flowers, Thomas Hoenig, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Greek Foreign Minister Dimitris Droutsas, President Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson of Iceland, President Mikheil Saakashvili of Georgia and Sir Richard Branson. Nemazee has also covered events including MENASA and COMESA, focusing on trade and investment in the Middle East and Africa, for Bloomberg Television.
Nemazee worked previously for BBC, Channel 4 and Channel 5 in London.
After attending Durham University in England, where she studied History and Politics, Nemazee received professional broadcast journalism training at London's City University. She is fluent in Farsi.
