Welcome my friends!
Today in America we are seeing the reaction to the decades of corruption and greed that have plagued Wall Street and Washington. It is no secret that every branch of the government has been perverted by the corporate lobbyist and big money. It is no secret that the elected official with the most money to spend, gets into office. It is no secret who the elected officials really work for. We all know this corruption has been going on too long!
What we may not all iknow is that we are not alone in our anger and disgust towards the powers that be. Millions of working class people across the nation are tired of the games, tired of the oppression, and tired of being marginalized by big corporations and big government. The citizens of this country have been exploited and manipulated for so long that they are now losing the basics. Now that our higher education is too expensive to afford, now that our jobs are being shipped over seas, now that our homes are being foreclosed on, now that the people are running out of things to lose to our greedy 1%; we are seeing that the only option they leave us is protest. This is what the Occupy Wall Street protests are about: taking the power back from the corrupt corporate cartels and putting it back into the hands of the citizens. We want to live in the America we were promised. An America that supports liberty, justice, human rights and open government. We want some hope for a better future and we are not getting it with the current system.
Today is the day we see what the individual citizen is made of. Today you have to ask yourself if you are ready to accept the corruption or fight it. Thousands of your fellow citizens are already fighting. They are demanding liberty, they are demanding human rights, they are demanding an end to a system that only works for the richest 1%. They are standing against the corruption of Wall Street and Washington. Stand with them and support the Protests!
