Monaco

The tiny independent principality of Monaco, consisting almost entirely of the town of Monte Carlo, is situated on the Mediterranean coast of France. It is in the heart of the popular seaside resort area of the Côte d'Azur and enjoys a Mediterranean type of climate which is described for Mediterranean France. The area of Monaco is less than 2 sq km/1 sq mi.
