A band of squally rain and strong winds continues to sweep southwards, with cooler, showery conditions following behind. Hail and thunder possible in the northwest, and also a chance of snow over the Scottish mountains. Strong winds across many areas.
Chilly with sunny spells and blustery showers, these most frequent in the north and west with hail and thunder, and falling as snow over the higher ground in the north.
