NTC confirms Col Gaddafi has been killed
The National Transitional Council has confirmed that the former Libyan leader Col Muammar Gaddafi has been killed.
At a press conference in Benghazi, Vice Chairman Abdel Hafiz Ghoga said it was an "historical moment" and the end of "tyranny and dictatorship".
