Apple stores close today for Steve Jobs memorial
(CBS) - Don't try to get an appointment at the Genius Bar this afternoon. Apple stores in the U.S. will close today so employees can watch a memorial for the company's co-founder Steve Jobs.

According to a Reuters source, the service will be held at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, Calif. The memorial is being described as a "company-wide celebration of co-founder Steve Jobs' life." Apple stores will be closed for 90 minutes on Wednesday so employees can watch the service.
The company memorial will run from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. PST. Apple stores aren't accepting reservations today for tech support or classes.
Jobs passed away on Oct. 5 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. The official cause of death was respiratory arrest related to pancreatic cancer. He was 56 years old.
The Jobs family held a private burial on Oct. 7. A more public funeral was held on Oct. 16, which was attended by President Bill Clinton, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, former vice president and Apple board member Al Gore, among others.
