Olympic and European laser champion Paul Goodison says his early selection to compete at the 2012 Olympics will help him prepare properly to deliver a medal for Team GB.

Sheffield-born Goodison believes the decision eases the pressure on him, revealing plans to travel the globe in search of "guaranteed wind" to help him train to repeat his gold medal win from Beijing on the waters of Weymouth next year.

Goodison is speaking to Neil Smallburn of BBC News at a media event at London's Covent Garden.
