Millions of people around the world do not mourn the death of Osama Bin Laden, long considered Public Enemy Number One. To be honest, many are celebrating the terrorist’s death at the hands of US Navy SEALs. For a not insignificant number, such emotions are conflicting, since it’s not a very Christian viewpoint.
As I see it, Bin Laden’s death is a good thing. Still, we must steel ourselves against those who might argue against the belief the War on Terror is not over. I’ve already seen a lot of people questioning when troops will come home from Afghanistan and Iraq simply because Bin Laden is dead.
Unfortunately, the reality is Bin Laden is not al-Qaeda’s only bad guys. And the US must be careful to not squander the political capital of Bin Laden’s death.

Simple-minded gibberish as is most of what comes from politician’s mouths.
Who exactly will the US not fail? Will it not fail the first responders of 9/11 suffering illnesses from their efforts? Will it not fail the almost 1 million homeless in the US? Will it not fail to help those who lost their homes in the GFC? Will it not fail to manage its debt? Or will it not fail Halliburton, General Electric, the rich and powerful?
But above all, shame on the US for calling this assassination “Justice”. The US used to stand for justice. It does not anymore in the eyes of the world. The US is a cowboy and flaunts international law whenever it feels like it.
The world respects your power, your spirit and creativity. But it does not respect the decisions you make. And actions, in the end, is what matters. Your walk does not match your talk.

The context of Pres. Bush’s statement was, simply, to bring those responsible for the 9/11 attacks to answer for their horrific murder of thousands of innocents. While you remind us of some issues to consider, they are not relevant to this quotation.
None of us was there, so we cannot speak to the exact circumstances surrounding Osama bin Laden’s death. We know, however, bin Laden took responsibility for the 9/11 attacks. This is, essentially, pleading guilty to mass murder. Thus, I don’t see the disconnect.
I don’t disagree the US is not perfect and actions, in the end, is what matters.

Bin Laden of course had nothing whatsoever to do with it. And there has NEVER been a full investigation done. Ask yourself why? He gave interviews to al Jazeera several times saying he had no knowledge and no involvement in 9/11. Yet, al Jazeera twisted his statement, claiming that he admitted responsibility for it. He did not! It was an inside job – Mossad connection hard evidence.

I don’t know al Jazeera is a credible source. Bin Laden was the head of al Qaeda and al Qaeda claimed responsibility for the 9/11 attacks. Thus, regardless of what bin Laden may have said, he is responsible and culpable.

Look elsewhere on Google iamges and you’ll see proof that the Bin Laden death photo is a fake and is two photos stuck on top of each other. There is no evidence whatsoever to support that Bin Laden was killed this month only hearsay.

Agreed, the bin Laden death photo is a fake. No picture on the Internet could serve as proof of bin Laden’s death. There are still those who claim Adolf Hitler didn’t kill himself in his bunker in 1945.

He died of natural causes in mid-December 2001. Who said it? Well for one thing, a Taliban official who attended his funeral years ago made the statement; former president of Pakistan, Musharraf; Benazir Bhutto before she was killed; the former FBI head of counter-intelligence. Funny how there was so much evidence on Saddam, but none on Osama by Obama.

If he died in December 2001, the onus for evidence fell to Pres. George W. Bush, not Pres. Obama. In any case, what difference does it make if he died in 2001?
