The National Transitional Council has postponed by one day, to Sunday its announcement proclaiming the liberation of Libya. It will now be made on Sunday in Benghazi, the country's eastern city where the uprising began in mid-February, and the NTC is still based, at 5:00 pm (local) at the court of justice.

NATO's operations in Libya are very close to completion and it has taken a preliminary decision to end Operation Unified Protector, OUP, at the end of this month, the alliance's secretary general Anders Fogh Rasmussen said at the end of the meeting of the North Atlantic Council with the OUP partners to assess the situation in Libya.

APICORP Concludes Another Successful Divestiture
