Will Libya be ready for an election in the next 8 months?

“Libyans should be allowed to vote within eight months to elect a national council that would draft a new constitution and form an interim government,” Prime Minister Mahmoud Jibril said on Saturday amidst news he was to step down later in the day.

Will Libya be ready hold elections in the eight month time frame the NTC declared?

This milestone is definitely accomplishable for the Libyans with national patriotism and high level of civilization who have already prevailed and acquired the freedom in an unbalanced fight. It will be inevitable and essential to bridge narrow opinions and local interests. There is no other acceptable option

Yes, we believe within 8 months Libya will be ready to elect a national council that would draft a new constitution and form an interim government.
