Baghdad (NINA) – The Hearing Committee in the Communications and Media Commission warned the Baghdadiya TV that it should abide by the decree of suspending its work on the Iraqi lands.
A statement issued by CMC on Sunday said “the hearing committee at CMC assembled on May 25, 2011 to review the complaint filed by CMC represented by its Executive Manager against the Executive Manager of the Waha Company for Satellite Channels Services (Baghdadiya Channel) for continuing its activity and transmission for the period of November 1, 2010 till February 23, 2011.”
It added that “Baghdadiya breached the decree issued by the committee on November 1, 2010 which states closing the Baghdadiya office in Baghdad and other Iraqi lands, including the SNGs, therefore, the committee decided to warn the Baghdadiya channel of the necessity of abiding by the decree.” /End/
