Baghdad (NINA) – Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Amar Al Hakeem congratulated Chairman of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate Muayad Al Lami and the journalists on the success of the elections of the Syndicate and its integrity.
In a telephone call, Hakeem stressed that the journalists presented a living example for democracy that Iraq aims at.
He hailed Lami’s role in leading the journalistic work and developing it to enhance the democratic standards and its interacting with the political process. /End/
