On Thursday, October 20, Sirte, the last stronghold of the Gaddafi regime, was taken by the Libyan NTC fighters and Muammar Gaddafi was captured and killed.

According to some reports from Sirte, Gaddafi and an escort of bodyguards had attempted to break out of the siege of the city, which had lasted for more than a month. Their convoy was struck by French fighter jets and a US Predator drone, and a wounded Gaddafi took cover in a drainage pipe with his surviving entourage. Pursuing NTC fighters fired at the group as they fled, then fought and killed some of the men guarding Gaddafi and took him captive.

Guma al-Gamaty, the former UK coordinator for Libya's National Transitional Council, joins Sir David Frost to discuss Libya's revolution, Gaddafi's death and the country's future.

But even before the summit, diagreements between Germany and France led to a late announcement that another summit will be needed. This week has seen a 48-hour general strike in Greece that turned into violent clashes in Athens. Meanwhile, there have been the so-called Occupy Wall Street protests in about 900 cities and 82 countries around the globe.

'Nothing spreads like fear'

"Nothing spreads like fear" - that is what you learn from Steven Soderbergh's latest film, Contagion. The film tracks the outbreak of a lethal virus that kills millions of people around the world, with doctors and scientists struggling to discover the cause and develop a cure.

Director Stephen Soderbergh talks about fear, pandemics, and whether Contagion is a realistic prophecy or just a good story.

Conspiracy theories surrounding the death of Adolf Hitler are nothing new. But a new book claims that Hitler fled from his Berlin bunker in April 1945 to live in Argentina where he died in 1962 after a massive stroke. Grey Wolf recalls in remarkable detail not only Hitler's alleged escape from Germany with his wife Eva Braun, but also his life in Argentina where he is said to have lived in an isolated German-accomodated colony in Patagonia.

Sir David speaks to Gerrard Williams, a British journalist and the author of Grey Wolf, about Adolf Hitler and his possible escape to Argentina.
