I can't sign in
Make sure your browser is set to allow cookies. A cookie is a small file that bbc.co.uk needs to store on your computer for BBC iD to work.
You can change your browser's settings to allow cookies. This option is usually available from the menu bar under 'Options' or 'Preferences' and then under Privacy settings. Every browser is slightly different so try using your browser help section to read how to set your browser to allow cookies.
What does the option 'Remember me on this computer' mean?
If you tick the 'Remember me on this computer' box when signing in, registering or upgrading, the computer you are using at the time will remember you for 30 days and automatically sign you in if you visit bbc.co.uk again in that time. This means you don't have to type your username and password each time you visit.
Never tick 'remember me on this computer' if you are using a public computer, for example in an internet cafe or at a library where lots of people share it. To keep your account safe, only tick this box if you are the only person using this computer.
My username/email address/password doesn't work when I try to sign in
First, please make sure you've typed your details in correctly. If you think you may have forgotten your username or password, go to forgotten password page to send yourself an email that will remind you of your username and allow you to reset your password.
If you are still having problems signing in, then the reason for this may be because bbc.co.uk is introducing BBC iD, a new sign in system. To know more about this, go to What is BBC iD.
