Iraq’s National Football team beats its Chinese counterpart

Baghdad (NINA) – Iraqi National Football team achieved a big and important victory over its Chinese counterpart by scoring one goal against nothing in the match played on Friday evening, Nov. 11, at Hamad Stadium in Doha, within the Asian elimination for 2014 World Cup in to be held in Brazil.

The goal was scored by player Younis Mahmoud in the 92nd minute of the match.

With this wining, Iraq has obtained 9 points reaching Second Class of its Group making it closer to the Second Stage of the elimination. It has to face two teams, Jordan and Singapore, and one point to reach the Second Stage.

The Iraqi team’s upcoming match will be against Jordan’s National Football team scheduled to be held in Amman on the 15th of November. / End.
