China's growing role in UAE
This week marks 10 years since the term "BRICs" was coined - referring to the economic powerhouses of Brazil, Russia, India and China.
India has traditionally had the closest links with the Gulf - 1.8m Indians live in the UAE alone, about a quarter of the UAE's population.
But China's role in the Gulf is fast overtaking, as Katy Watson reports.
