Two people hurt in paramedic vehicle crash in Paisley

Two people have been injured after a paramedic vehicle crashed into a bus stop while answering a 999 call.

It is believed the vehicle and a Renault car collided in Causeyside Street, Paisley, at 10:19 on Monday.

The Honda CRV then crashed into a bus stop, injuring a pedestrian. The paramedic driver was also hurt.

Both men are being treated for their injuries at the the town's Royal Alexandra Hospital. Their condition is not yet known.
