1537 OLYMPICS: British cities have been asked to apply to be the host of the
2018 Youth Olympic Games. The deadline for cities to apply is 30 January, with a decision by the end of February on whether a bid will be submitted to the International Olympic Committee. The IOC will produce a shortlist in January 2013 with the winner announced in the summer of 2013.
