In an unpublished 2003 interview, Steve Jobs talks about Apple's new iTunes Music Store. http://wp.me/pg9un-d5C
On April 28th, 2003, moments before I was about to interview Steve Jobs at San Francisco's Moscone Center, I was jittery. Anticipation? Nerves? Excitement? You bet. All of those visceral emotions were...

How the iPad 2 became my favorite computer. http://wp.me/pg9un-d4n
Can the iPad replace a PC? Ever since Apple announced its tablet nearly two years ago, the Internet has been awash in discussion of this question. Most of it has had a pretty theoretical feel and has ...

Credit where credit is due: My experiences with Verizon Wireless tech support have all been good, and they never try to rush you off.

MasterImage 3D's glasses-free 720p 3D for phones & other gadgets is...surprisingly good! http://cnet.co/t1V10y
New technology aims to let phones and other pocketable devices display remarkably crisp, bright high-definition 3D images. Read this blog post by Harry McCracken on Challengers.

Ted Nathan  -  There are a few problems Apple is presented with in entering the business market in a serious way. 1. Their product is expensive compared to the comparable Windows based computer. 2. Outside of Word, Excel, email and web browsing, any business that has a specialized LOB application will require an emulator such as Parallels or VM Fusion. And then they will need to purchase the Window license to run the application under emulation. Or they can go to a TS / Citrix solution if the application supports it? And then if the application integrates with Word or Excel or Outlook, licensing costs will skyrocket. 3. What about centralized data sharing with security and backup? Xserve is not a good solution. It is expensive and slow. 4. Windows has Active Directory. What does Apple have?

Interesting story, but Oswald didn't "become" Mickey Mouse. He continued on and appeared in dozens of cartoons produced by other studios, and was a comic-book character for decades. And Disney owns him today. (He appeared in EPIC MICKEY.)

The cartoon, called Hungry Hobos, has been missing since before the Second World War. Incredibly, it has turned up in the Huntley Film Archives in Herefordshire.

Check out this great interactive doodle which is running now in many European countries. It is a tribute to Stanislaw Lem, one of the most widely read Sci-Fi authors in history. (Even if you haven't read any of his books, you might have seen the movie Solaris, which is based on one of his novels.)

This is a fun doodle that you can "play"... Check it out!
