AMMAN– Jordan beat Kuwait 2-0 in Qatar on Tuesday to qualify to the final of the Arab Games football Championship.
Jordan’s two goals were scored by Abdullah Theeb in overtime.
The match was extended after the two teams failed to score in the original time.
Jordan will play for the championship’s gold in the final against Bahrain on Friday.
Bahrain eliminated Palestine 3-1 in Tuesday's other semifinal in the Qatari capital of Doha.
Kuwait will play Palestine for the bronze on Thursday.
Theeb, the championship's top scorer with four goals, will miss Friday's final after receiving his second yellow card of the championship during Tuesday's semifinal against Kuwait.
