Breaking: Egypt voting extended to two days instead of one

Voting in each phase of Egypt's three-stage parliamentary election will be held over two days instead of one, Egypt's ruling military council decided on Friday, according to state television.

The first stage of the vote begins on Monday. There was no immediate explanation for the military council's decision.

My daughter (who lives in the UK) is reporting similar problems. When contacting the embassy, it is only the answering machine that replies. And in Canada it is the same. So there must be a pattern behind it, I guess they don't want expats living in western countries to vote. Only in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the Gulf region voting seems to function without any problems. Guess why!

Serious problems attmpting to vote from USA
Please note and share that we here in theUSA have faced and continue to face many problems regarding voting. First unable to register on by Nov. 19 even though we have valid National ID cards and Egyptian Passports,then today we are unable to vote by mail due to the fact that the official site is not working and rejecting our own voting code we were given at the time of registration. Please Help.
