AMMAN — Ministry of Public Works and Housing Secretary General Sami Halaseh received this week a certificate of appreciation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in recognition of his continuous efforts to support and facilitate the implementation of the projects funded by the Japanese government in Jordan.
According to a ministry statement, Halaseh received the certificate from Public Works and Housing Minister Yahya Kisbi and JICA chief representative in Jordan.
JICA extended a grant to Jordan to establish King Hussein Bridge and Sheikh Hussein Bridge in the Jordan Valley to facilitate passengers and cargo movement between Jordan and the Palestinian National Authority.
