Cambridge City Manager Robert Healy again topped the list of the highest paid municipal workers, bringing in more than $336,317 in 2010, according to a public records request made by the Chronicle.

Healy’s salary for 2010 was more than $11,000 over the previous year’s salary and ranks higher than the salary of Boston Mayor Thomas Menino who banked $169,750, which was the same amount he took in the year before when he took a three percent pay cut. For comparison, Healy makes almost as much as President Obama ($400,000).

In Worcester, a city with roughly the same population as Cambridge and the same form of government, their city manager, Michael O’Brien, made $182,776.

Healy’s salary is more than double that of Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, who made $140,535 last year.

The next highest city of Cambridge earner was Deputy City Manager Richard Rossi with a salary of $278,338. After Rossi is School Superintendent Jeffery Young at $245,334. Police Commissioner Robert Hass rounds out the top five with a salary of $185,561.

The salary list obtained by the Chronicle contains the salaries of city workers from calendar year 2010. In addition to salary, the reported earnings include the value of a T pass, cash payment in lieu of health insurance, overtime and paid detail, where applicable. The list includes all city workers, including school employees.
