Organizing Library

Organizing information is invaluable to attorneys and labor professionals monitoring union trends.

The library contains every NLRB representation (RC) petition filed since 1991 and all decertification (RD) petitions filed since August, 1993.

Elections Library

Use the information from this Library to analyze the results of elections in a specific area in order to determine a union's relative strengths, weaknesses, and level of activity.

The Elections Library contains records of every NLRB RC, RD, and RM election conducted since 1989.

Strikes Library

Use the information in the Strikes Library to monitor work stoppages records as reported by the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service.

This library includes records of strikes and other work stoppages occuring since 1991.

Contracts Library

Use the information from this library to determine a union's penetration in a specific area or to acquire detailed information about the company and union named in a contract.

The library contains contact information for the union and company involved and expiration date of each contract.

ULP Charges Library

This library contains charges filed against unions by their own members.

Typically, charges involve incidents of favoritism and interests of the union coming in conflict with interests of members, including threats of physical violence against members who disagree with union policy.

Clippings Library

The Clippings Library holds thousands of articles that document union strikes, violence, financial irregularities, plant closings and other incidents unfavorable to unions.

Union and issue-specific articles are important when developing successful campaign literature.

Constitutions Library

Find information regarding dues and special fees, union trials and discipline, as well as pages of complicated rules and regulations in the international union's constitution.

This Library contains the text of international constitutions for the most active unions.

Labor Organizations Library

The LRI Online Labor Organizations Library enables you to search for financial and membership information extracted from union LM forms.

More than 32,000 labor organizations are included, from the national to the local level.

Site Search

Site Search lets you find the most appropriate locations for site selection by showing the level of union activity in an area.

Information is gathered from the Organizing, Elections, Strikes, and Contracts Libraries.

Company Search

The Company Search provides the capability to identify companies who are likely targets of labor unrest or potential union salts.

Information is gathered from the Organizing, Elections, Strikes, and Contracts Libraries.

Count Records

This free cross-library search form lets you get a count of records you will find in all of the libraries at once.

Use it first if you simply need numbers or want to make sure you'll find what you're looking for before incurring a charge.

Union Alert Report

The Union Alert Report provides up-to-date tracking of union petition activity for specific locations. The report will tell you if activity has increased or decreased.

Select a union and/or industry to watch closely and that activity will be highlighted.

Union Alert Report Generate a one-week or one-month summary report of union organizing activity in up to 10 Zip Code areas. The report shows the number of petitions filed during the selected period and indicates if the number of petitions for each area has increased or decreased from the previous period of the same length. You will also see charts tallying the past six months of petition activity and election results. View a sample Summary Report.

Enter a "High-Alert Union" and select a "High-Alert Industry" and any records matching those selections will be highlighted in the reports. This is a great way to keep track of those unions that most often target your specific industry.

Zip Code Radius Search allows you to enter a Zip Code and specify a radius to find all records within that area. Available in the Contracts, Organizing, and Elections Libraries.
