Members of the Chamber of Tourism’s general union and Mohamed Morsi, head of the Muslim Brotherhood’s political arm, the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), are expected to meet Sunday evening. The meeting will take place at the Chamber’s offices in Dokki. The two parties are expected to discuss the demand to include a representative from the Chamber of Tourism in the yet unframed constituent assembly.

The People’s Assembly (parliament’s lower house), in which the FJP has the highest number of seats, is charged with formulating the assembly which will draft Egypt's next constitution. Ilhamy El-Zayat says the Chamber will also discuss major issues related to tourism in Egypt.

El-Zayat says the chamber has many questions for Islamist party regarding their plans for the tourism sector. He stressed that restoring security should be the main priority now.
