Friday December 16, 2011

Want to skip the board games and get some money books to teach your kids?

Kids money books make great gifts for both parents who are teaching their kids about money and kids learning about money. As a parent, you can try The First National Bank of Dad Book to start.

If you are looking for a book for kids to read themselves, try The Everything Kids' Money Book. You can find more ideas for kids money books.

Gift Idea #6: Easy Money

Friday December 9, 2011

As we get closer to the holidays, it's time for another great family board game to teach kids about money.

Up next is the game Easy Money.

Easy Money's best element is the fast paced nature of the game. Your kids will probably also get excited as they watch large amounts of money added to their account pile up, since the game uses much larger sums of money than other games.

However, Easy Money, unlike most of the other games we talked about, doesn't really focus on the learning aspect as much. It's something to be aware of if you are shopping for a game focused more on teaching your kids about money.
