Cold weather means gathering inside and enjoying board games or television sports or long chats. If you get the munchies, I have a great twist on party mix I think you'll enjoy. If you drop a bit and get a butter stain, just follow the links to remove the spot!
Honey Mustard Munch
8 cups Honey Nut oat rings or rice cereal squares
2 cups bite-size pretzels
1 cup roasted peanuts
3 tablespoons butter, melted
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
In large microwaveable bowl, mix cereal, pretzels and peanuts. In small bowl, microwave butter on High for 30 seconds or until melted. Stir in mustard and garlic to butter. Pour over cereal mixture and stir to coat. Microwave mixture uncovered on High 3 minutes, stirring after each minute. Spread on wax paper or foil to cool. Store in airtight container.
