One of the expectations for the coming year is the continued adoption of sustainable practices by the shipping industry and shore based operations. This may be as simple as installing high efficiency lighting in an office building or as complex as a new cold ironing installation at a port facility. As the environmental term "green" becomes entangled with the word Profit we will certainly see more unique solutions to the problems of conservation and emissions.
