Students

The goal we hold for all our students is for them to learn to analyze discourse and pedagogy, political, social, and cultural discourse, and epistemological and methodological questions from multiple perspectives especially those related to gender, race, and class. We encourage our students to reflect upon their place in the world and the institutional and cultural underpinnings of how we conceptualize our choices and how we expand them.

Currently, we have a diverse group of majors, minors, and certificate students in our program. In 2010, we will have our largest graduating class of 30 students. We serve approximately 500 students a year in our courses and many more who attend our events.
