Opting in to the new Channels design:
If you are opted out, and would like the new Channels design, follow the instructions below:
To access your Channel:
- Log in to your YouTube account
- Click your username located in the top right corner of any page, and select My Channel
Switching into the new Channels design by clicking the blue banner at the top of the page means that you are changing your Channel's look and feel for everybody who visits your Channel, regardless of if they have opted in to the new design.
On the other hand, if you were previously opted into the Channels Preview, or if you clicked "Try it Out" at www.youtube.com/t/channels, you are just previewing what your Channels would look like in the new design. Only you, the Channel owner, can see your Channel in the new design. If you would like to make your Channel preview into your new design so everybody can enjoy the updated design, click Show this version to everyone at the top of your Channel.
Please click the Introduction tab above to learn more about what automatically migrates to your new Channel. All of these settings can be edited in the new Channels view, but your old settings will carry over into the new design as a starting point.
In order to switch back to the old Channels design:
- Navigate to your Channel and click the Edit Channel button located on the right.
- Under Channels Version, click Switch back to the old Channels design.
