Baghdad (NINA) - Minister of Displacement and Migration, Dindar Najman Dosky, discussed with the Dutch Ambassador to Iraq, Lander Burke, conditions of Iraqis living in the Netherlands and asked to wait on the legal proceedings against them. According to a statement issued by the ministry today "Dosky told Burke that the ministry is seeking to solve all the problems suffered by the categories under the ministry care in the Netherlands through holding ongoing meetings between the two sides in Baghdad and the Netherlands in the near future and to work to create workshops to monitor the actions taken against them."
the statement added "Dosky called on the Dutch Ambassador to wait on returning Iraqi immigrants now and to focus on the issue of deportation after consultation and agreement between the two parties to organize the process of voluntary return," stressing that "the ministry is seeking to improve and increase the privileges provided to the returnees in order to encourage them to return. /End/
