AUC Forum Evaluates the Arab Spring After A Year

AUC Forum panel discussion titled "Arab Spring: A Year After" will evaluate national, regional and global perspectives a year after the fall of three Arab regimes. The main speakers are Dina Shehata, senior researcher at Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies; Ibrahim El-Houdaiby, political researcher and freelance journalist focusing on Islamic movements, democratization and the political economy of the Middle East; Farhad Kazemi, professor of politics and Middle Eastern and Islamic studies at New York University; as well as William Quandt, Edward R. Stettinius Professor of Politics at the University of Virginia. The event will be chaired by Bahgat Korany, AUC Forum director.
