In the year 1974, a new anime series debuted in Japan that drew a line from the far reaches of outer space to the infinite depths of the human heart. Space Battleship Yamato brought Japan's best artists, writers, and filmmakers together under a new genre called "Space Adventure Roman," and they created a shock wave that can still be heard today. Spanning ten years, the saga incorporated three TV series (known to the English-speaking world as Star Blazers) and five magnificent, monumental movies that not only made box-office history, they also inspired the 'anime boom' that brought us some of the most exciting entertainment in the world!
Peacemaker
For 15-year-old Tetsunosuke Ichimura, childhood innocence has given way to a blinding thirst for revenge. Haunted by the vicious slaying of his parents, he decides to seek out the Shinsengumi. An elite group of swordsmen sworn to protect the capital, the Shinsengumi are engaged in a brutal conflict with the Choshu rebels, the same ruthless killers who murdered Tetsu's parents. In the name of justice -- and against the will of his older brother -- Tetsu desperately hopes to join the Shinsengumi. Wading through a sea of espionage, intrigue, and flowing blood, the young boy must decide to shed his humanity and become a demon of the Shinsengumi, or to relinquish his hatred and become a Peacemaker in the spirit of his father.
Requiem From The Darkness
Yamaoka Momosuke, author of children riddles, grows tired of writing for the younger audience and sets out to gather spooky and gruesome stories to publish in an anthology called Hyakumonogatari ("One Hundred Tales"). While researching ancient myths and legends, he comes across a mysterious trio who call themselves the Ongyou. Ongyou investigate the legends to reveal their hidden truths...and bring those in the wrong to justice. Upon each interaction with Ongyou, Momosuke must face horrible truths, battle his morals, and is forced to see things he shouldn't see.
Chrono Crusade
The year is 1928 A.D. The place is New York, U.S.A. In celebration of its 20th Anniversary, Anchor Bay Entertainment's Manga brand is set to release two of the most highly anticipated animated films. On January 17, 2012, Katsuhito Ishii's REDLINE and award-winner FIRST SQUAD: THE MOMENT OF TRUTH will be released on Blu-ray™ and DVD.
REDLINE will also have a limited theatrical run in Los Angeles starting December 2nd and in NYC starting on January 6th.
REDLINE is a racing film created by studio Madhouse (Paprika, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Summer Wars). REDLINE is about the biggest and most deadly racing tournament in the universe. Only held once every five years, everyone wants to stake their claim to fame, including JP, a reckless dare-devil driver oblivious to speed limits with his ultra-customized car - all the while, organized crime and militaristic governments want to leverage the race to their own ends. Amongst the other elite rival drivers in the tournament, JP falls for the alluring Sonoshee - but will she prove his undoing, or can a high speed romance survive a mass destruction race?

In a bleak future where humanity is oppressed by an army of mutants and forced to live underground, a fourteen year-old boy named Simon is assigned the task of digging tunnels to expand his village. Recruited into the Gurren Brigade together with a boisterous man named Kamina, a beautiful sharpshooter named Yoko and many other friends, they use the robots power to fight against their oppressors and take back the surface.
Robotech: The Macross Saga
In the year 1999, an alien battle-fortress crashes on an island in the Pacific. Over the next ten years, mankind repairs and refits this fortress, using the advanced "robo-technology" found aboard it to create fighter planes that can transform into giant robots. As soon as the repaired fortress is ready for launch, the aliens to whom it belongs finally discover its location. Thus begins a series of wars that will devastate the planet earth.
Robotech: The Masters
Fifteen years have passed since the war against the Zentraedi Forces. The peaceful life of the survivors of the first alien battle soon ends with the invasion of the Robotech Masters. The Masters have come to earth to reclaim the Protoculture Matrix, the source of power for the mysterious Robotechnology that was discovered by mankind decades earlier when the interstellar battle-cruiser, the SDF-1 crash landed on Macross Island. Defending the Earth against the Robotech Masters is the misfit 15th Squadron under the leadership of Dana Sterling, daughter of the ace Veritech pilot Max Sterling and Zentraedi pilot Miriya Parino.

Weary from constant battle with the Robotech Masters, the United Earth Forces eventually fell to the Invid Invasion. Lt Cmdr Scott Bernard leads a tight-knit team of freedom fighters towards the main Invid base located at Reflex Point. Now and Then, Here and There
Shu is a typical Japanese boy, with an unbeatable, optimistic, and determined attitude. However, when he sees a mysterious girl named Lala-Ru up on a smokestack, he is pulled into a strange desert world where he discovers the true terrors of war, such as genocide, brutal torture, hunger, thirst, and child exploitation. Now Shu is trying to save Lala-Ru, as well as his hard-earned, and often reluctant, new friends from the insane dictator, Hamdo. Whether Shu can possibly accomplish saving those he cares about while staying true to his values remains to be seen.
Descendants Of Darkness
Even after death, life is full of paperwork and criminals. Tsuzuki Asato is a 26 year old, happy-go-lucky, and dorky shinigami (God of Death) whose job is to make sure those who are dead remain dead and stay in their proper realms. Even though he's had this job for more than 70 years, he is in the worst division with horrible pay. He also has a knack for not keeping partners (since shinigami work in pairs), but now he seems to have one that will stick around: stubborn, smart-mouthed, serious, and defensive 16-year old Kurosaki Hisoka. With each case they investigate, they come closer to the conspiracies of the serial killer Dr. Muraki Kazutaka. Tsuzuki's relationship with Hisoka is growing stronger and closer...but there is a dark past to how Tsuzuki died that will not give him peace.
