Royal visits

Many of the fine new buildings on the campus of the University of Huddersfield have earned the Royal seal of approval.  The Dukes of York, Kent and Gloucester, plus the Duchess of Kent, are among members of the Royal family who have visited the University to open or to inspect new buildings and facilities. And in 2007, Her Majesty the Queen was our guest when, accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, she unveiled the foundation stone of the architecturally stunning new Creative Arts Building. During 2012, the University of Huddersfield will commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in a whole host of ways.
