United Nations - Gambian president, Al Hadji Yahya Jammeh, reiterated, here Thursday, his "full support" to Morocco's territorial integrity

   "My delegation reiterates its full support to Morocco's sovereignty and territorial integrity," the Gambian head of State said during his speech at the 64th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

   Concerning the Sahara issue, "we are convinced that the Moroccan proposal to grant a substantial autonomy to the Sahara region, on the basis of negotiations initiated by the UN Security Council and conducted and agreed by the parties, will lead to a final and peaceful solution to the conflict," he said.
