It doesn't matter who masterminded Ninoy's assassination. Marcos laid down the foundation and the environment of violence that allowed it to happen.. not just to Ninoy but to the thousand others who were abducted, killed or just disappeared during martial law. How short is your memory of the recent past? And how easy is it to blabber nonsense just so your comments would stand out?

@MsHadassah777 BENEFIT?? Are you friggin' insane? We are still suffering until now because of Marcos' legacy of corruption and violence. Government corruption scandals, massive cheating during elections, the Maguindanao massaacre--- these are all happening to us because the Marcoses were not sent to jail. Before Marcos' regime, these were not part of Philippine culture. Marcos taught our leaders to steal and get away with it..

@MsHadassah777 yeah the marcoses put up lots of projects and infrastructures which put the country under massive debt even your grand daughter's daughter will not be able to pay

No matter how good or bad things are in your life, you can always reach back to a time and place you so desire from your memory bank. But some are just too engrossed with their own version of truth. A story to remind us of how rotten to the core Philippiine politics is. A wound that continue to pester democracy.......

Thank you for sharing this. There were times I cried because of the very intense emotion of reality happening in the Philippines that one might not be realizing at this point. This is an eye opener. Worth watching.

after edsa revolution, everybody is looting the country and its people. taxes are so high that people don't even see any improvement after paying their due taxes. yet people who were and are elected are living like they are spending their own money. they haven't even thought about the fact that what they were/are spending is the people's money.
Thank you Veronica for telling us your story. Young journalists look up to you.
