Basketball Pep Band

MUSICAL AMBASSADORS OF MARYLAND: A CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION

The Pep Band plays at all men's and women's home basketball games. You'll never have to worry about getting a seat because your instrument is your ticket! The Pep Band completes the "Student Wall" in the Comcast Center, helping cheer the Terps to victory. Members of Pep Band also travel to post-season tournaments; prior destinations have included Anaheim, San Francisco, Orlando, Tallahassee, Knoxville, Denver, New Orleans, Phoenix, Minneapolis and Charlotte.

Pep Band is offered for one credit during the spring semester. Auditions are held during the fall, and participation is limited to those who are enrolled in the marching band.

Dance Team

The Maryland Dance Team is an independent squad that incorporates styles of funk, jazz, cheer dance, and poms to perform at home football and basketball games with the Marching Band and Pep Band.
