Deputy Defense Minister visits Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada

Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz paid a visit yesterday to Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada to attend the conclusion of the Green Flag 2 Exercises. Over the past few weeks, the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) and the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF) have been conducting joint training exercises with the U.S. military. While touring the base, Prince Khalid met with U.S. Air Force Commander Gen. G. Michael Hostage and a number of other senior U.S. officers, who briefed him on the role of the RSAF in the Green Flag 2 Exercises. Then, a reception ceremony was held in honor of Prince Khalid. The Deputy Minister of Defense was accompanied by RSAF Commander Lt. Gen. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Aish.
