Skillet Songs

Tuesday May 1, 2012

Skillet - Carolina Rebellion Concert - May 2011 - John CooperFor the past 15 years, Skillet has been making music that we, the fans, fall in love with. They've changed their sound once or twice, but regardless of whether they're doing industrial rock, worship or hard rock, they still sound great. The list of Skillet songs are my personal faves -- what are yours?

Take 6 Celebrating 25 Years

Thursday April 26, 2012

Take 6The ten-time Grammy and ten-time Dove winners, Take 6 (comprised of Claude McKnight, Mark Kibble, Joel Kibble, Dave Thomas, Alvin Chea and Khristian Dentley, who replaced Cedric Dent when he retired last year), will be celebrating 25 years of music this year. Though the famed a cappella group actually formed 32 years ago in Huntsville, Alabama at Oakwood College when McKnight created The Gentleman's Estates Quartet, they have been known to the world as Take 6 since signing with Reprise Records in 1987.
