Most travelers agree that summer is the best time to travel to St. Petersburg. The pros of traveling during this time are the warm weather, the fact that attractions are open for business, and festivals such as the White Nights festival. The downside of traveling during this season are the sometimes ridiculous wait times to get into the royal palaces and museums. Despite this inconvenience, any summertime trip to St. Petersburg will be one to remember, especially if you plan ahead!
