The
Connecticut Renaissance Faire offers a full day of family entertainment and a chance to escape the real world for a while. My friend, the fair lady Jessica, and I always have so much fun: It's an event we never miss! Watch knights joust and get a sense of what you'll see in this
video. Then, make plans to get thee to the Robin Hood Springtime Festival, which runs weekends from May 12 through June 3, or to King Arthur's Harvest Faire this fall.

The spring
flower festival season gets underway this weekend! The annual
Meriden Daffodil Festival is Connecticut's most colorful free event, and there are fireworks on Saturday night. Fields of buttery daffodils are also a spectacle to behold each spring at the
Nantucket Daffodil Festival, where events this weekend include an antique car parade, a tailgate picnic and more. And don't miss
Daffodil Days at Blithewold in Bristol, Rhode Island, where sunny daffodils greet guests through this Sunday, April 29.
