The Pulitzer Center Campus Liaison Program is a leadership initiative for driven students interested in working with the Pulitzer Center on their own university campus. With guidance from the Pulitzer Center, Student Liaisons act as an extension of the Pulitzer Center's outreach team, working to engage their campus community in international issues.

With guidance from the Pulitzer Center, Campus Liaisons work as a bridge between Pulitzer Center resources and their school. Liaisons act on campus to get the word out about international reporting topics through events, radio shows, flyering, tabling, blogging, tweeting, hosting movie nights, offering round-table discussions, writing editorials, and any other way they know how.

Do I need to be a journalism major?
No! Pulitzer Center reporting projects cover a wide range of issues. The Pulitzer Center Campus Liaison Program is open students with a passion for international affairs, political science, social justice, marketing, journalism, political science, immigration, food security, women's rights, environmentalism and more.

What kind of things have Campus Liaisons done on their campus?
• Write on a global issue and submit to a campus or online publication.
• Create short videos and upload to the Pulitzer Gateway.
• Organize a flyer campaign related to a Pulitzer Center reporting project.
• Organize awareness campaigns related to a Pulitzer Center project.
• Raise funds and bring a Pulitzer Center journalist to campus
• Organize blogging between students and journalists in the field
• Host a panel bridging Pulitzer journalism with faculty expertise.
• Translate a Pulitzer video documentary to reach a broader audience.

Campus Liaison Duties:
• Devote at least 2 hours/week to the program for at least a semester.
• Update the Pulitzer Center biweekly on the status of your outreach.
• Submit a final report upon completion of the term with feedback from teachers and peers, including a recommendation for the next campus Liaison.
